​AND RUN

Runners AND walkers of all ages are welcome to choose a casual, untimed 1 mile or timed 5K course!  Bring your baby in a stroller!  Ride your mobility scooter!  Make it a family affair! Some participants are serious runners while others see it as a social event.  Either way, it’s fun and supports women and families! The 5K has 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for both males and females for the following age groups; 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.  There is no timing or prizes for the 1 mile walk/run..   The event will be held rain or shine.

Register by October 5th for the early bird price of just $25 and you are guaranteed a race T-shirt!
After October 5th, the registration fee increases to $30 and T-shirts will be available while supplies last.
Children 10 and under are FREE!

JOIN IN ON THE FUN

​Make a difference by getting involved, volunteering, or donating to help families right here in Lancaster County. Would you like to help us organize and run the “5K for Life” event? There is a lot to do prior to the event such as marketing and acquiring sponsorships and in-kind-gifts (i.e. food, drink, prizes). On the day of the event, there is course setup, registration management, and providing safety at intersections. More hands make a lighter load for all! We welcome teen volunteers in need of school, scout, or confirmation service hours!   Select the  VOLUNTEER link with questions or to volunteer your help. North Star Initiative offers housing, emotional support, and treatment for survivors of human trafficking.  We are advocates, innovators, prayer warriors and servants dedicated to restoring the lives of survivors of sex-trafficking; For Freedom, For Life, Forever! ​
